Ferndale Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Dania Bazzi will be at the library to give a short presentation regarding Michigan’s Read by Grade 3 Law and to answer your questions.

The evening will begin with stories from the one and only Genot Picor, storyteller.

Snacks and light refreshments provided.  Children 4 + welcome to attend with their parents

September 28th | 2 pm

Dan the Creature Man will be bringing live gators, snakes, turtles, and more to teach you all about his cold-blooded friends.

Children 2-6 and their caregivers will read stories and get to explore the fire station!

Trick-or-treat through the Haunted Library and enjoy crafts, snacks, and stilt walking performance!

Ferndale DDA’s trick-or-treat is from 4-6, make sure to swing by the library afterwards!

All ages, no registration required.

The youth services department provides programs and events that reach out to the young members of the community.  Most of our programs do not require registration, unless otherwise noted.  Our programs are open to all attendees, regardless of library card or residency.
